When using the straightener, you must be able to see steam coming out and hear the noise of the steam.
If you can’t see any steam anymore and you can’t hear the noise of the steam any longer either, this means that
the reservoir needs to be lled up.
In this case, once you have lled the reservoir, you will need to wait for about 90 seconds before the steam starts
coming out of the straightener again.
USING IT FOR THE 1
st
TIME
1) Plug in the straightener.
To switch your straightener on: press continuously on the on/o button
The LCD screen will then come on automatically.
2) Select the ideal temperature for the type of hair you want to straighten using the + and – buttons:
Press the – button to reduce the temperature or the + button to increase it.
• It takes 90 seconds for the straightener to heat up.
Whilst it is heating up the temperature indicator of the straightener will ash.
• There are 5 temperature settings for you to choose from: 170-180-190-200-210°C (330-350-370-390-410° F).
• We advise you to observe the following recommendations:
• When the temperature shown on the indicator stabilises and remains constant, this means that the temperature that
you have chosen has been reached.
• After 5 seconds, the straightener will go into LOCK AUTO mode (a padlock symbol appears on the dial). This mode stops
any ill eects occurring if you inadvertently press on a button you shouldn’t have during use (for example pushing
by mistake on the + /- buttons during use).
• If you wish to change the temperature of your straightener, you will have to unlock it:
To do this, press again for a few seconds on either the + button or the -.button. The control is now unlocked and the
padlock sign will disappear from the screen.
At any time you can exit the control by pressing continuously on the – or + buttons.
When you use your straightener for the very rst time, keep the tong closed in your hand until the steam appears
(it will take around 90 seconds for you to obtain steam the rst time you use your straightener).
