When first put into operation or after a longer period without heating
a short-term odour can arise.
3.3 Setting the temperature
1. Start the appliance by setting the desired heating power using the heating level switch
(see Fig. 2, No. 4).
2. Turn the temperature control (see Fig. 2, No. 3) clockwise as far as it will go.
3. Once the desired temperature has been reached, turn the temperature control anti-
clockwise until you hear a clear click. An integrated thermostat control now automati-
cally switches the appliance on and off, thereby ensuring an approximately constant
temperature.
3.4 Switching off the appliance
1. The ventilator must continue running for about 1 minute before switching off.
2. Move the heating level switch (see Fig. 2, No. 4) to position "0".
3. Pull the power plug out of the socket.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before covering it or putting it away.
3.5 Storage
Protect the appliance against dust, dirt and insects. Cover the appliance with the foil pro-
vided so that it is protected from impurities and damage or malfunctions caused this.
3.6 Repacking for private transport purposes
Always pack the appliance in its original packaging for transportation to prevent transport
damage.

If the heating level switch is in this position, the appliance will
be switched off.
If the heating level switch is in this position, only the fan is oper-
ated. Move the switch to this position if you wish to use the
appliance as a ventilator (thermostat in position max.).
If the heating level switch is in this position,
the fan heater is provide a heat output of 1000 W.
If the heating level switch is in this position,
the fan heater is provide a heat output of 2000 W.
