Ÿ Cut pieces to the desired length. Square cut
ends to ensure a 90˚ cut before beginning
installation.
Ÿ Apply construction adhesive to the back of one
piece of wainscot.
Ÿ Starting in a corner of the room and making
sure the nailing fin faces away from the corner,
press the first piece into place.
Ÿ Nail through the fin into the wall.
Ÿ Continue gluing and nailing until you come to
the corner. At this point, it may be necessary to
rip the last corner piece so that it will fit.
Ÿ Repeat along each wall.
