Before You Begin To assure proper results, test carpets and upholstery for colorfastness. Wet an inconspicuous area with a small amount of cleaner. After 1–2 minutes, blot with a white paper towel and check for color transfer.

Begin cleaning where furniture was, then return furniture to its original location. Avoid staining carpet by placing aluminum foil under furniture legs. Clean remainder of carpet. Try the following steps to resolve this issue: Make sure the dome is securely sealed with the retaining wire to the top of the recovery tank. Check the hose connection at the back of the machine and secure if necessary. Clean the filter that is in the dome. Remove any accumulated debris around the vacuum slot.
