3. Flip the rain cover over, making sure
the lens barrel sleeve is facing away
from you, and check the inside of the
cover to make sure the larger of the
two tabs on the eyepiece cap is at the 6
o’clock position. If necessary, rotate the
eyepiece cap 180°.
4. Place the eyepiece on the eyepiece cap
so the tab release on the eyepiece is at
the 9 o’clock position. Hold the eyepiece
cap in place with one hand while using
the other hand to press and rotate the
eyepiece a quarter-turn clockwise until
you feel it lock into place.
