Add 5 Alerts
The SAME message the NWR sends contains information, which
tells the radio the time period for which the alert is valid. The time
can be set from 15 minutes up to 6 hours. When the designated time
has passed the display message and light will be reset to their
normal state.
Except above 81 types of alerts, this device allow you to add five
new alert message you want to monitor , to add the new alert
message code follow the steps below:
(For example: 036 FLOOD WARNING)
a. Press “MENU” button to open menu options.
b. Press “▲” button until “ADD ALERTS” is displayed on the
screen.
c. Press “SELECT” button, “NEW ALERT 1” address starts to
flashing.
d. Press “▲or▼” to choose “NEW ALERT （1-5）”.
e. Press “SELECT” button, the first number of code “---” flashing,
then press ”▲or▼” to program county code.
f. Press “ ” to save that selection and move to the next digit.
Continue programming all 3 digits in this way.
g. Press “▲o r ▼” to display the line which will be shown on the
display when this message is received. Eleven character spaces
are available.
