Before using this appliance for the first time, please read the instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS This heater is intended for use on a flat, stable surface, such as a floor, tabletop, shelf, or desk in a location where the airflow grille openings won’t be obstructed. Keep all combustible material such as furniture, pillows, paper, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from the heater. Do not use in wet or moist locations, like bathrooms or laundry areas, or in areas where paint or other flammable or volatile liquids are used or stored.
The comfort LED for the different temperature settings will light up in sequence (Frost watch, 18C, 21C, 24C, 27°C ) when pressing the comfort button each time. The heater will switch off shortly after the desired temperature is reached and the power light will still on. The heater will turn back on when the room temp drops below the desired temperature. The temp control can be disabled if all comfort temperatures is set to be off. The heater will run continuously.
Mode: Remote Control Two AG 13 or LR 44 buttons cells are required. The remote control works the same as the corresponding buttons on the control panel. The control display on the heater will show the appropriate icons when the various functions are activated. SAFETY FEATURES This unit is equipped with a Safety Auto-Off, plus a safety Thermal Fuse. If the unit experiences excessive heat, the Safety Auto-Off will shut the unit off.
Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Ensure that the heater is switched off. The body of the appliance and the stand should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not let water enter the appliance or the stand. Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your appliance as it can be damaging to the finish. Do not immerse the heater in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a running tap to clean.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service agent, in order to avoid any hazard. If service becomes necessary within the warranty period, the appliance should be returned to an approved Tedelex Trading (Pty) Ltd service centre. Servicing outside the warranty period is still available, but will, however, be chargeable. CHANGING THE PLUG Should the need arise to change the fitted plug, follow the instructions below.
