Rust-Oleum Marine Coatings Anti-Slip Additive easily mixes with
latex or oil-based paints and provides a skid-resistant coating for
wood, metal, fiberglass and concrete. Better than sand, Anti-Slip
Additive is made of a unique pumice material. It mixes evenly, not
settling to the bottom, and provides a uniform coat and a safer slip-
resistant surface. Use on any interior or exterior surface where slips
and falls are likely to occur. Ideal for floors, decks, stairs, ramps,
washrooms, ladders, patios, boat jettys, walkways and more. Anti-
Slip Additive will not change the color, performance or properties of
the paint.
Mixing:
Add one container of Anti-Slip Additive (1/4 pound) per quart of
coating. Stir additive thoroughly into paint until an even consistency is
achieved. Stir often during use to avoid settling. Follow application direc-
tions on Topside Paint can. Application of a coating containing the Anti-
Slip Additive by airless spray is not recommended.
Contains: Crystalline Silica that can cause cancer. Risk of cancer
depends on duration and level of exposure from dust produced by sand-
ing the coating surface. Quantity of respirable crystalline silica in bulk
form is less than 0.1% and overexposure is not expected during appli-
cation.
Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe dust. Ensure
fresh air entry during application or drying. If you experience eye water-
ing, headache or dizziness or if air monitoring demonstrates vapor/mist
levels are above applicable limits, wear an appropriate, properly fitted
respirator (NIOSH/MSHA approved) during and after application. Follow
respirator manufacturer’s directions for respirator use. Close container
after each use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thor-
oughly after handling.
