Mark the middle holes on the left and right of the bracket.
Secure the bracket in place by installing self-tapping
screws in the center holes on the left and right sides of
the bracket. Tighten screws with a 3/8 in. socket.

NOTE: For wooden doors, drill hole completely through
the door and install bracket using bolts (not provided)
and nuts (not provided), see figure 42.
To install the bracket on single-panel doors:
Lower the garage door completely.
Using a pencil and a level, draw a vertical line in the center
of the top portion of the garage door.
Extend the line across the top edge of the door.
Place the door bracket on the top edge of the door and
center it on the line.
NOTE: The bracket can also be placed on the front upper
portion of the door if necessary.
Mark the holes in the bracket.
Secure the bracket in place using screws. Tighten screws
with a 3/8 in. socket.
NOTE: For wooden doors, drill hole completely through
the door and install bracket using bolts (not provided)
and nuts (not provided).
