GENERAL SAFETY RULES Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before plugging in. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites accidents. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on.

FEATURES LED WORKLIGHT KNOW YOUR SCREWDRIVER The screwdriver has a built-in LED worklight that illuminates when the switch trigger is depressed. This feature is convenient when working in close or tight areas where additional light is needed. See Figure 1. The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting.
OPERATION WARNING: INPUT JACK Do not allow familiarity with products to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. WARNING: RED CHARGE LIGHT Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating products. Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible serious injury.
OPERATION Adjusting TORQUE reverse See Figure 3. There are twelve torque indicator settings located on the front of the screwdriver. Rotate adjustment ring to desired setting, aligning number on adjustment ring with arrow on housing. • 1 - 2 For driving small screws • 3 - 4 For driving screws into soft material • 5 - 7 For driving screws into soft and hard materials • 8-9 For driving screws into hard wood forward • 10 - 11 For driving large screws • For full power applications Fig.
MAINTENANCE WARNING: WARNING: When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. MAINTENANCE BATTERY PACK REMOVAL AND PREPARATION FOR RECYCLING SCREW(S) See Figure 7. Remove the four screws securing motor housing cover, then remove cover. Lift batteries from motor housing enough to expose leads and battery terminals. Disconnect the red lead from the battery by pulling apart as shown. Disconnect the black lead from the battery by pulling apart as shown. NOTE: Be careful not to break battery leads when disconnecting them. Remove the battery for disposal.
