Autonegotiation will not function properly when the clock source ports on both Integras are
pointing at each other (e.g. WAN-WAN in a link or LAN-LAN in a back-to-back connection).
SyncE will function properly on LAN2 and LAN3 ports only with appropriate SFP modules.
CLI commands:
network sync enable <port> Enable SyncE on a port connected to a clock source. The
selected port will become “slave”, while other ports –
“master”. Autonegotiation will not function properly between
two “slave” ports.
network sync disable Disable SyncE on all ports.
network sync status Enabled – shows if SyncE is enabled;
Polling failed – indicates last data polling failure;
Speed Grade – shows Ethernet speed on LAN1 port -
1000BASE-T(1G) or 100BASE-T(100M);
Port – current port used as clock source;
State – clock status, "Locked" if SyncE operates normally;
State info – additional info
network status info 'SyncE_Act' and 'SyncE_Prio' field nonzero values indicate
synchronous ethernet activity.
