A rug pad is recommended for use with most types of area rugs.
Here are the list of benets from using a rug pad:
• Prevents slipping and sliding and holds the area rug in place
• Provides a durable cushion that lessens the impact of surface fricon on rug bers caused
by day-to-day wear and tear
• Extends the longevity of the area rug
• Adds an extra layer of comfort from the cushioned feel density of the pad
• Protects ooring whether it is hardwood, le, or carpet from scratches or abrasions from
the backing of an area rug
• Easy care and maintenance - can be cleaned by hand washing with a mild detergent,
rinsed, and laid at to dry
• Easily cut to t desired area rug size and space
