SABRE Module
Quick Start Guide
The SABRE Module offers a quick Bluetooth
mobile access upgrade for legacy readers with
a Hiroshi connector.*
Remove the mounting screw at the bottom of
the reader.
The Hiroshi connector is hidden behind black
electrical tape. By peeling the tape the
connector will become accessible.
The SABRE module has a matching Hiroshi
connector that will plug into the host reader.
With the SABRE module connected, re-mount
the reader onto the wall and reinsert the
mounting screw.
Position the SABRE module (with logo up),
onto the Hiroshi connector and press firmly
to make a connection.
Once a connection is made between the
Hiroshi connectors, the module will start to
receive power and within 5 seconds will be
operational.
Open the Safetrust Wallet APP and select Admin
Installer tab. Make sure your system admin has set
you up with this role).
Once the screw is removed pull the reader out
and up to remove it from the wall mount
bracket.
