User Manual
Thank you for purchasing the SAG5050 landscape
speakers. The SAG5050 is specically designed to
provide excellent audio performance and seam-
lessly blend in with all types of outdoor environ-
ments. Please read this manual carefully for opti-
mum performance.
Each speaker has a two-conductor 16AWG speaker
wire exiting the bottom. The wire should be
connected to a similar wire running from your
audio system.
If you want music over a wide area, we recom-
mend placing numerous speakers at low volume
rather than a couple of speakers playing at a high
volume. Ideally, you should place the speakers as
close to the primary listening area as possible. The
perceived volume of the speaker decreases rapidly
as it is moved further from the listener.
Insert stake into ground by hand. To
avoid damaging or breaking the stake,
DO NOT use a metal hammer or any
kind of hard object. If the soil is too hard
to put in by hand, use a rubber mallet to
insert into the ground.
Attach speaker wire to cable run
coming from your audio system. Make
sure the wire polarity is correct. Attach
the SAG5050 speaker to the stake using
the security knob. Turn knob clockwise,
but do not tighten it yet.
Tilt the landscape speaker to the
desired angle then continue turning the
security knob until it is fully tightened.
When attaching additional wire to the
SAG5050 landscape speaker, it is critical
that a high quality connection is
achieved. A poor connection may lead
to decline in performance.
