OPERATING YOUR SAGE® PRODUCT BEFORE FIRST USE Remove and safely discard any packaging material or promotional labels attached to your kettle. It is recommended that before first use to fill the kettle to the maximum level, bring to the boil by selecting the BOIL 100° button, then discard the water. OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE 1. Fill with the desired amount of water. NOTE Always fill the kettle between the minimum (500ml) and maximum (1700ml) marks on the water window. 2.
CARE & CLEANING DESCALING Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior and water window to discolour over time. We recommend the use of Sage® “the Descaler” to remove scale build up and stains. To order, visit www.sageappliances.com DIRECTIONS FOR USE 1. Empty 1 sachet (25g) into 1L of warm water. Stir to dissolve. 2. Pour into kettle. 3. Leave stand for 5 minutes. 4. After 5 minutes, discard the solution. 5. Rinse the kettle twice with fresh clean water.
