Always ensure the appliance is turned OFF, unplugged at the power outlet and has been allowed to cool before cleaning, attempting to move or storing. Always turn the appliance to the off position, switch off at the power outlet and unplug at the power outlet when the appliance is not in use. Do not clean with metal scouring pads.

OPERATING YOUR NEW APPLIANCE 1. Insert the power plug into a 220 – 240V power outlet then turn the power on. BEFORE FIRST USE We suggest toasting on the maximum setting without bread. The toaster may emit a thin smoke or distinct odor on initial use. This is normal and not detrimental to the performance of the toaster. 2. Place 1 slice of bread into each of the toasting slots. 3. Select the desired browning setting by adjusting the browning control slide on the front of the toaster. 4.
OPERATING YOUR NEW APPLIANCE FRUIT LOAF SETTING To toast fruit loaf: 1. To select the FRUIT LOAF setting, press the CRUMPET/FRUIT LOAF button twice and the blue button will illuminate. 2. Press the TOAST/CANCEL button which will then light up in red. FROZEN BUTTON To toast frozen bread: Press the TOAST/CANCEL button and the surround will illuminate in red then press the FROZEN button and the surround will illuminate in white. The bread will automatically lower into the toasting slots.
