CHOOSING A PREDEFINED AUDIO PROFILE
You can accentuate certain tones by setting one of the 6 predefined audio profiles (Normal,
Rock, Jazz, Classic, Treble, Bass). In the Audio Mode menu, select one of the audio profiles
from the list and confirm.
RESETTING THE RADIO
If necessary, you can reset the radio to its initial settings.
In the Parameters > Initial settings menu, select Yes and confirm. Now the radio is on factory
settings.
CHANGING THE DISPLAY LANGUAGE
In the Parameters > Language menu, select the desired language and confirm. The messages
are displayed in the chosen language.
CHANGING THE TIME DISPLAY
The time is displayed in the format HH:MM
1. In the menu Parameters > Time, set the time:
turn the knob to reach the desired time,
press the knob to confirm the time displayed.
Thus, first define the hours, then the minutes.
2. Confirm at each stage.
The set time is displayed on the screen.
CHOOSING THE FM STATION SEARCH MODE
The radio has two FM station search modes:
Automatic: the stations are found according to the reception quality automatically detected,
Manual: the stations are set by means of successive manual jumps of 0.05 MHz in the FM
band.
To select a FM station search mode:
In the menu Parameters > Scan radio, select Manual or Automatic according to the search
mode required.
LISTENING TO THE FM RADIO IN STEREO OR MONO
In the menu Parameters > Audio FM, select Stereo or Mono depending on the broadcast mode
you want and confirm.
DEFERRED LISTENING IN DAB MODE (MODEL HM40)
Thanks to its integrated storage capacity, your HM40 radio enables you to defer listening to a
radio station:
by managing pausing and resuming listening to a programme, from the extact moment you
stopped listening to the live broadcast, or
by setting recording of a radio programme, to listen to later.
PAUSING / RESTARTING A PROGRAMME
1. During the broadcast, press the key.
The screen shows the progress and the start and end time of the recording.
2. To resume listening, press the key again.
If you reset the radio, you will lose your personal settings.
No set recordings will be made if the radio is on standby unless the energy saving
option Deferred mode is deactivated.
