- 3 : next message.
- 5 : messages read.
- 7 : enable/disable the answering machine.
- 8 : record memo.
- 9 : answering machine off.
10.5. DELETING ALL THE OLD MESSAGES
•Go to ANS. MACH / MESSAGES / DELETE OLD.
To confirm the deletion of all the old messages, press Yes .
10.6. RECORDING A MEMO
This function allows you to record a personal message on your answering machine. As long it
has not been listened to, it will be considered as a new message by the answering machine.
•Go to ANS. MACH / MESSAGES / RECORD MEMO.
•Press Begin to start recording.
To stop recording, press End .
The recorded memo is played.
During playback, press Edit to re-record.
At the end of listen:
- To validate the memo, press Yes .
- To cancel the memo or restart the recording, press No .
Once validated, your answering machine considers the memo as a new message until
it is played.
The new event message will replace the screen saver.
11. TAM SETTING
This menu allows you to change the advanced settings of your answering machine. You can
access the answering machine SETTINGS menu from the ANS. MACH menu or from the
ADVANCED SET submenu. of the SETTINGS menu.
11.1. ACTIVATING AND DEACTIVATING CALL SCREENING
The filtering function, when activated, allows you to listen to the message left by the caller as
it is being recorded. You can unhook to answer at any time.
•Go to ANS. MACH / SETTINGS / CALL SCREENING.
A screen indicating the function status (On or off) appears.
- To keep the current status, press Valid. .
To delete old messages one by one, refer to the previous paragraph and delete
unwanted messages during playback.
