Using the recorder

When, in a folder, you have several file formats (photo, audio),

you can select a display mode for the contents.

Press the yellow [Mode] key and select with the or key

the desired display mode:

• Audio player: display audio files (mp3),

• Media List: display all files in the folder,

• Photo player: display image files (jpg),

• Play list: display the files of an existing playlist.

Press the key to confirm the desired view.

Press the key to confirm the selection of ah highlighted media file or folder.

You can then carry out the following operations:

To... Proceed as follows...

select several files and/or

folders which are not

continuous

Select them and press the green [Select] key for each selected

element. Selected elements appear with the icon.

select a series of files and/or

folders which are continuous

1. Select the first element of the series then press the green

key,

2. Hold for more than two seconds,

3. Select the last element of the series then press the green

key.

All the elements located between the first and the last of the

series are selected.

unselect an element

Press again the green key.

To... Proceed as follows...

copy, delete or move the

selected elements

Press the red [Options] key and follow the instructions

displayed on the screen.

This command enables you to copy or move files to another location

within the same device, or from one device to another (for example:

external USB device to the hard disk of the receiver).

It also enables you to create new destination folders.

Note: Do ensure that the destination device has sufficient disk

space before transferring your data.
