4. – BATTERY CHARGE
1.1 CHARGE WITH CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
- Connect the projector to the mains with the Power cable included
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE THE PROJECTOR MUST BE OFF
- The standard time for battery charge when the level is 5%, is approximately 6 hours
- During the charge, the internal reference LED (visible through the grids on the bottom) is
RED. When the charge is finished, or when the projector works only with the battery, this led
is green:
Internal LED RED = - projector in charge connected to the mains
Internal LED GREEN = - if connected to the mains the charge is complete
- If not connected to the mains the projector is supplied from
the battery
1.2 CHARGE WITH FLIGHT CASE
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE THE UPPER COVER OF THE
FLIGHT CASE MUST BE ALWAYS OPEN
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE THE FLIGHT CASE HAVE TO BE
RAISED FROM THE FLOOR (WHEELS INSTALLED), IN ORDER TO AVOID OBSTRUCTION OF THE
VENTILATION HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE, IN ORDER TO ENSURE A CORRECT
FLOW OF FRESH AIR.
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE DO NOT OBSTRUCT THE
VENTILATION HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BASE IN ORDER TO ENSURE A CORRECT FLOW
OF FRESH AIR.
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE DO NOT OBSTRUCT THE
INTERNAL VENTILATION GRIDS, IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE A CORRRECT HEAT DISPOSAL
THROUGH THEM.
- DURING THE COMPLETE PROCESS OF BATTERIES CHARGE THE PROJECTORS MUST BE
ALWAYS OFF.
- THE FLIGHT CASE IS SUPPLIED WITH AN INTERNAL AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL
SYSTEM THAT DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY IN CASE OF OVERHEATING DURING THE
CARGE OF THE BATTERIES. THIS CHARGE WILL RESTART WHEN NORMAL CONDITIONS WILL
BE RESTORED.
- PUT THE PROJECTORS IN THE CASE, WITH THE DISPLAY FACING TO THE OUTSIDE
- CONNECT THE FLIGHT CASE TO THE MAINS
For correct use of the battery it is strongly recommended to:
- Charge the battery at least one time each month
- The minimum level of the charge must be not less than 5%
