Installation Instructions

For aluminum screens, square press-on patches are designed to hook onto the mesh of the
damaged screen .These include simple instructions on the package. Following is an easy method
for attaching a common type of patch having hooked strands along two opposite edges.
Place the patch flat on a table so the ends of the patch are flat. Then bend the protruding strands
upward so that they are perpendicular to the patch.
Install the patch by laying the damaged screen over the patch and inserting the hooked ends
through the mesh of the damaged screen and then folding the patch against it, over the damaged
area, so the ends of the hooks point up toward you. Insert the ends of the bent strands through the
screen so the patch lies flat; finish by creasing the bent strands against the mesh on the other
side.
