Sakrete® Multi Purpose Sand is a graded, washed, dried sand for use in
sandboxes, gardens, cat litter boxes, ice and snow traction or weight sand.
Can also be used as base material for pavers and stepping stones.

USES:

COVERAGE:
60 lbs. provides approximately 0.6 cubic feet (0.016 cubic meters) of sand,
or will fi ll an area approximately 7 sq.ft. x 1 inch (25 mm) deep.
HOW TO DETERMINE COVERAGE:
Length x width x depth (all in feet) will give the cubic volume. Divide the cubic
volume of the area to be fi lled by 0.6 cubic feet. This will give the number of
bags needed eg. 4 ft. long x 3 ft. wide x 4 in. (.33 ft.) deep = 4 cubic feet
divided by 0.6 cubic feet gives the number of bags needed (7) in this
example.
SHELF LIFE: One year from date of manufacture.
STORAGE:
Store in a tightly closed container off the fl oor in a dry place.

ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY:
Uncured or crushed cured cement is an envi-
ronmental hazard, which may adversely affect
fi sh and wildlife. Dispose of construction debris
containing cement, including empty bags, at a
permitted municipal disposal fi rm. Do not use
crushed concrete as a fi ll near an aquatic habitat.
WARNING! Keep Container closed. Use with
adequate ventilation. Excessive exposure by
inhalation over an extended period of time
may result in the development of pulmonary
diseases including pneumoconiosis and
silicosis. Crystalline Silica has been
classified by IARC and NTP as a carcinogen.
FIRST AID: In case of eye contact, flush with
water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists,
seek medical attention immediately. If
inhaled, remove person to fresh air. If
ingested, drink water to dilute. Seek medical
attention immediately. In case of skin
contact, wash thoroughly. If irritation
persists, seek medical attention. See MSDS
for additional information.
LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that this product shall be of merchantable quality when
used or applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This product is
not warranted as suitable for any purpose other than the general purpose for which
it is intended. This warranty runs for one (1) year from the date the product is pur-
chased. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS
LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Liability under this warranty is lim-
ited to replacement of defective product or, at the manufacturer’s option, refund of
the purchase price. CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOVER-
ABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
