Preparation/Application:
Concrete Mix Accelerator is used in conjunction with other cementitious products.
For preparation and application instructions following those on the packaging of
the cement product to be used.

1. READ ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE STARTING WORK
2. Prepare the substrate as required following the cement products technical
data sheet under the preparation section.
Mixing:
1. Always mix Sakrete Cement Mix Accelerator with water prior to mixing into
the cement product.
2. Do not add accelerator directly to any cement product. Accelerator can be
added directly to the mixing water in the proportions listed above.
3. In cold temperatures use warm water and keep bagged material in warm
area until just prior to using.
NOTE: Proper application and installation of all Sakrete products are the responsibility of the end user.

Limited Product Warranty:
The manufacturer warrants that this product shall be of merchantable quality
when used or applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This
product is not warranted as suitable for any purpose other than the general
purpose for which it is intended. This warranty runs for one (1) year from the
dates the product is purchased. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO
THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Liability under this warranty is limited to
replacement or defective products or, at the manufacturer’s option, refund of the
purchase price. CONSEQUENTIAL AND INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARE NOT RECOV-
ERABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY.

Cement Mix Accelerator is a calcium
chloride based product designed to acceler-
ate concrete, mortar or any portland cement
based product. Cement Mix Accelerator can
be used when a rapid set is desired or when
freezing temperatures are anticipated. When
used in winter it is not an anti-freeze but
works to accelerate the set before the product
has a chance to freeze.

• Does not impact portland cement based products performance

Yield/Coverage:
NOTE: The yield is approximate and does not allow for waste and spillage.
Technical Data:
Contains calcium chloride. Caution should be taken when using around metal
or concrete with rebar.
Sakrete Cement Mix Accelerator is not an anti-freeze. Cold protective measures
are still required.
