OPERATION

Retrieve the brass 45 degree fitting (A) and apply pipe dope to the

threads.

Thread the fitting into the bottom of the water crossover (B) until it is

snug.

Use a 21mm wrench to tighten the fitting. Turn the wrench until the fitting

is positioned as shown.

2005 to 2006 Models:

Retrieve the new thermostat (C) and o-ring (D),

and re-install it into the water crossover. First set the thermostat into the

water crossover, and then set the o-ring in place as shown.

2007 to 2009 Models:

Retrieve the thermostat and o-ring (removed on

), and re-install it into the water crossover. First set the

thermostat into the water crossover, and then set the o-ring in place as

shown.

Set the thermostat housing cover (water neck) onto the crossover (E)

and line up the mounting holes (the bottom of the cover should be

applying firm pressure to the o-ring to create a good seal). Install 2 bolts

(F) and tighten to 91 Lb-in +/- 13.6 Lb-in
