Viewing Teletext
Analog TV.
Press the INPUT button and highlight TV using the
/
buttons and press ENTER to select.
Chose the TV channel you wish to view as normal
Press the TEXT button once to display the Teletext (Text) index on the screen.
Press the TEXT button twice to see a mixed image of TV picture and TEXT.
Press the TEXT button again or EXIT button to exit text mode.
Use the number keys to select the page you wish to view, or the quick access coloured buttons
(Fast Text) to select the subject corresponding coloured text at the bottom of the screen.
To increase the size of text, press the SIZE button. This will show the top half of the screen. Press
again too display the lower half of the screen. Press again or the EXIT button to revert to normal
size.
To freeze the page you are viewing, press t he HOLD button. Press again to un-freeze.
To reveal any hidden text (eg quiz answers) on the page being viewed, press the REVEAL button.
Press again to exit the feature.
To access any sub-page of the page being viewed, press the SUBPAGE button. A bar will be
displayed at the bottom of the text page. Press again to exit the feature.
To access or return to the main TV text index, press the INDEX button.
To view subtitles on the screen, press 888"" in text mode. If the station is transmitting sub titles
these will be viewed at the bottom of the screen.
To turn off the subtitle feature, press EXIT.
Using the DVD Player
Inserting a disc.
To operate the DVD player you must select DVD using the INPUT button, do NOT
attempt to place a disc into the player before selecting DVD.
Gently push the disc into the slot on the right side of the TV, with the DISC LABEL
facing AWAY from you. The mechanism will take the disc into the player.
After a few seconds “READ” will be displayed on the screen, and after another few
seconds the disc will either start to play automatically, or show the disc menu or
contents.

NOTE:The product no AUTO DVD function.
Your DVD player can play discs that are marked with the following logos :-
12cm DVD Video Disc. 12cm Compact Recordable Discs
12cm Compact Re-Writable Disc. 12cm Compact Audio Discs
12cm Photo Compact Discs.
Region Code.
If the region code of the disc you wish to play does not match the region code of this
DVD player, the disc will not be played
The region code for this player is region 2 ( see symbol opposite)
