It works by sensing the air temperature and switching on the heating when the air temperature falls below the thermostat setting, and switching it off once the set temperature has been reached. The RT100 from Salus Controls is a stylish and accurate mechanical thermostat with a large, easy to adjust setting dial.

Location The ideal position to locate the RT100 thermostat is about 1.5m above floor level, in a location where the thermostat is accessible, reasonably lit and free from extremes of temperature and draughts.

Salus RT100 Manual 001:89 17/11/10 19:34 Page 7 REASSEMBLING THE THERMOSTAT Reassembly of the RT100 is very straightforward; just a reversal of the steps taken earlier. Refit the cover and secure with the securing screw, and refit the setting dial: do not force the dial - it will only locate in one position. Do not remove or refit the cover of the RT100 without the mains supply to the system being isolated.
