Before you start: The SmartThings Link only works with compatible routers. Go to router.v-ho.me to find out if your router is compatible. Make sure that the router is connected to the network and Wi-Fi is turned on. Setup A V-Home service subscription is required for your SmartThings Link to work. Follow the V-Home Quick Start Guide in order to activate the subscription and devices.
4. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the SmartThings app to complete the setup of your smart home. Hint: During this step, an automatic software update may be required and could take a couple of minutes. If, after a couple of minutes, the SmartThings hub has not been discovered in the SmartThings app, please disconnect the SmartThings Link from the USB and start again from step 1.
