Currency Conversion
If you normally accept currency from a neighboring nation, you can program the Samsung ER-
5100/5140 to convert the subtotal of a sale to the equivalent cost in the foreign currency. Two
foreign currency conversion keys are available. See "Function Key Assignment Programming" on
page 91 to place currency conversion keys on the keyboard. You also need to program the
conversion factor. For example, if the US dollar (home currency) is worth 1.3720 Canadian dollars
(foreign currency), the conversion factor is 1.3720. See "Descriptor - Program 80
