BLUETOOTH Simple Operation
Select <PAIRING>.
(PAIRING is attempted during a
three-minute period.)
<PHONE/PHONE LIST/PAIRING>
are all available for use.

when the connection is made.

icon can be pressed again to retry
connection.

Connect the product with a mobile
phone.

Select <BLUETOOTH>.
Use the FUNCTION icons as
desired.

the main screen.

Press the button in B/T MODE.

The user's mobile phone searches for devices and finds the SJ-AVN.
(Refer to the corresponding manual.)

The SJ-AVN is registered. (Default password at registration: 0000)

When PAIRING is successfully completed, the icon turns from ► .
The BLUETOOTH Function is available only with BLUETOOTH-enabled mobile phones.
Refer to the Mobile Phone Manual for instructions regarding mobile phone BLUETOOTH connection. (Default password: 0000)

NOTE
PAIRING is attempted automatically upon turning power on.
(When pairing is established, connection to the last phone number called is made.)
PAIRING is attempted even if another mode is entered.
If PAIRING is successful, the mode is maintained, and if it fails, it is retried over a period of three-minute.
If PAIRING is not successful after the retry during the three-minute period, the failure mode is maintained.
BLUETOOTH Detailed Functions
PHONE
Use to make calls and enter phone numbers.
- Making Calls
• Press the <CALL> icon to call the last phone
number connected.
• Enter the phone number directly and press the <CALL> icon.
(If an incorrect number has been entered, use the <DEL> icon to delete one digit at a time.)
- Receiving Calls
• Bluetooth mode:
Press the <CALL> icon to receive an incoming call.
When the call is complete, press the <END> icon to finish.
• Other modes:
Press the <CALL> icon when the Bluetooth screen appears to receive an incoming call.
When the call is complete, press the <END> icon to finish.
(The Bluetooth screen disappears, and the previous mode is restored.)

PHONE LIST
- Use to make a call via the PHONE LIST or to delete
a stored phone number.
- - Saving to PHONE LIST
• Save after directly entering a phone number.
• A total of six phone numbers can be saved.
• Pressing the <SAVE> icon during a call saves the current phone number.
- Deleting from PHONE LIST
•
After selecting the phone number from the PHONE LIST to be deleted, press the <DEL> icon.
(The next stored phone number in the sequence fills the space vacated by the deleted
phone number.)
