Pins 17 & 18 of CN4 connect to the case-mounted reset switch and allow rebooting of your computer
instead of turning OFF the power switch. This is a preferred method of rebooting in order to prolong the life
of the system’s power supply.
HDD Activity LED
This connector extends to the hard drive activity LED on the control panel. This LED will flash when the
HDD is being accessed.. Pins 19 & 20 of CN4 connect the hard disk drive and the front panel IDE
channel2 LED. Pins 19 is -, and pin 20 is assigned as +.
Reserved pins
Pins 3,10,15 and 16 of CN4 are reserved pins.
