Introduction / System Features * Your receiver and transmitter have been factory preset to utilize the same channel. A listing of the available channels and their corresponding UHF frequencies is presented in Appendix B on page 54 in this manual. System Features Designed for use in both live sound and sound contracting applications, the Samson UHF Synth 32 Wireless System provides a high performance, cost effective solution, utilizing state-of-the-art technology in wireless communications.
ENGLISH System Features • Technological breakthrough usage of SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) filters (similar to those used in high-end television receivers) for extremely precise and stable tuning. • True Diversity technology maximizes active range (up to 300 feet) and reduces potential interference problems through automatic switching between two independent receivers.
QuickStart 1. Make sure that the supplied R32 receiver and T32 or H32 transmitter are factory preset to the same band (High, Medium or Low). 2. Physically place the R32 where it will be used and extend both antennas vertically. 3. If you are using the T32 with a lavalier or headset microphone, make the physical connection between its mini-XLR input connector and the microphone you are using. 4.

In normal operation, both Antenna A (the antenna on the left) and Antenna B (the antenna on the right) should be placed in a vertical position. Both antennas can be folded inward for convenience when transporting the R32.
Guided Tour - R32 Front Panel 2e: AF (Audio Frequency) Level meter - This six-segment “ladder” meter (similar to the VU bar meter used on audio devices) indicates the presence of audio signal. When all segments are lit, the outgoing audio signal is at maximum strength; when only the left-most segment is lit, the outgoing signal is at minimum strength.

When two or more transmitters and receivers are being used in the same location, they should be set up to use different Channels within the same Group—see the “Setting Up and Using the Synth 32 System” section on page 11 and Appendix B on page 54 in this manual for more information.

When set to the “off” position, the audio signal is muted. Because the carrier signal remains during muting, no “pop” or “thud” will be heard.

We recommend the Duracell MN 1604 type battery. Although rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries can be used, they do not supply adequate current for more than four hours.
Setting Up and Using the Synth 32 System 1. For the Synth 32 system to work correctly, both the receiver and transmitter must be set to the same band (labeled “Low,” “Medium” and “High”). Remove all packing materials (save them in case of need for future service) and check to make sure that the supplied R32 receiver and T32 or H32 transmitter are factory preset to the same band.
ENGLISH Setting Up and Using the Synth 32 System 5. Place a fresh 9-volt alkaline battery in the transmitter battery holder, taking care to observe the polarity markings. If you are using a T32 belt-pack transmitter, gently replace the battery door by swinging it up and pressing until it clicks. If you are using a H32 handheld transmitter, replace the bottom section of the microphone by sliding it on and then screwing it back on. Whichever transmitter you are using, leave it off for the moment. 6.
Setting Up and Using the Synth 32 System 11. Once you’ve settled on your Group and Channel assignments, it’s time to set the audio gain structure. If you are using a H32 transmitter or T32 transmitter with a connected lavalier or headset microphone, make sure it is unmuted (the Mute indicator in the R32 LCD display should not be lit).

En effet, certains canaux ou groupes sont susceptibles de faire apparaître plus de segments que d’autres (plus le nombre de segments est important, plus le signal est fort ; si les cinq segments apparaissent, cela signifie que le R32 reçoit un signal HF de force optimale et qu’il est correctement positionné).

Bei normalem Betrieb, sollten die Antennen A (links) und B (rechts) senkrecht aufgestellt werden. Die Antennen lassen sich zum Transport des R32 einschieben.
Übersicht – R32 Vorderseite 2d: RF Level-Anzeige (Radiofrequenz) – Diese 6 Segmentanzeige arbeitet ähnlich wie die Aussteuerungsanzeige bei Audiogeräten und zeigt die Stärke des empfangenen UHF Signals an. Wenn das « 100% -Segment leuchtet, ist die Qualität des empfangenen Signals optimal. Leuchtet lediglich das linkeste Segment, so ist das Eingangssignal auf seinem untersten Pegel. Leuchtet gar kein Signal, so wird ein zu schwaches oder gar kein Signal empfangen.

Wir empfehlen Ihnen die Duracell MN 1604 Batterieart. Obwohl Sie wiederaufladbare Batterien (NiCad-Akkus) verwenden können, reduziert deren Verwendung die maximale Betriebszeit auf nicht mehr als vier Stunden.

Aufbau und Betrieb des Synth 32 System 4b. Ist Ihr System mit einem H32 Handsender ausgestattet, schrauben Sie den Unterteil des Mikrofons gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf und ziehen Sie ihn dann ab. 5. Setzen Sie eine neue 9-Volt Batterie in das Batteriefach. Beachten Sie dabei die Polaritätsmarken. Falls Sie einen T32 Taschensender verwenden, klappen Sie die Batterieabdeckung wieder zu und schließen Sie sie mit leichtem Druck.
Aufbau und Betrieb des Synth 32 System 10. Wenn Sie das Synth 32 System zum ersten Mal in einer neuen Umgebung verwenden, sollten Sie sich zunächst ein Bild vom Nutzbereich machen und mit den verschiedenen Gruppen- sowie Kanaleinstellungen experimentieren, um zu sehen, welche die besten Empfänge gewähren. Beobachten Sie dazu das R32 RF-Level-Display. Je mehr Segmente aufleuchten, umso reiner ist das Signal.

Por ello, antes de que comience a conectar cables y a usar este sistema, le recomendamos que pierda unos pocos minutos en, cuando menos, ojear estas páginas.
Características del sistema • Tres bandas operativas (grave, media y aguda), con 32 canales diferentes disponibles en cada banda, todos ellos funcionando en el ancho de banda UHF menos sobrecargado. Se pueden usar hasta seis sistemas Synth 32 (cada uno ajustado a una frecuencia distinta dentro de la misma banda) en el mismo montaje o estudio sin interferencias.

Cuando todos los segmentos se iluminan, la señal RF entrante tendrá su fuerza óptima; Cuando solo se ilumine el segmento de más a la izquierda, la señal RF entrante tendrá una fuerza mínima.

Cuando esté usando dos o más receptores y transmisores en el mismo lugar, debe ajustarlos para que utilicen distintos canales dentro del mismo grupo. Recomendamos utilizar pilas del tipo Duracell MN 1604. Si bien es posible utilizar también pilas de niquel-cadmio recargables, tenga en cuenta que no ofrecen una corriente a buen nivel durante más de cuatro horas.
Ajuste y utilización de su sistema Synth 32 El proceso básico de ajuste y utilización de su sistema inalámbrico Synth 32 solo conlleva unos pocos minutos: 1. Para que el sistema Synth 32 funcione correctamente, tanto el receptor como el emisor deben estar ajustados a la misma banda (indicada como “Low,” “Medium” y “High”).
Ajuste y utilización de su sistema Synth 32 53 ESPAÑOL 5. Coloque en ambos casos una pila alcalina de 9 voltios nueva en el receptáculo de la pila del transmisor, siguiendo las indicaciones de polaridad marcadas. Si está utilizando el transmisor de petaca T32, vuelva a colocar la tapa de la pila empujando hasta que oiga un “click”. Si utiliza el transmisor de micro H32, vuelva a colocar la sección inferior del micro en su sitio deslizándola hacia arriba y volviéndola a enroscar.
ESPAÑOL Ajuste y utilización de su sistema Synth 32 puede que observe que algunos ajustes hacen que aparezcan más segmentos que otros (cuantos más segmentos aparezcan, más fuerte será la señal—si aparecen los cinco, es que el R32 estará recibiendo una señal RF óptima en cuanto a fuerza y estará colocado correctamente). Seleccione siempre el grupo que tenga el máximo número de canales limpios y el canal que le ofrezca la señal más fuerte.
