By controlling the aperture, the user may adjust the overall picture brightness.
Large apertures require more lighting and soften the background details.
Smaller apertures will increase the depth of field, bringing the main subject and the background
into focus.
Set the Mode Dial to A or M.
1. Press the Navigation Wheel once.
The indicator and the Exposure Control Bar appear on the LCD monitor.
2. Press the DOWN or UP button to select Aperture Setting.
The current Aperture Setting (f-numbers) is highlighted in Green.
3. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to set the desired aperture value.
The available Aperture Range: f2.8 ~ f11.0
4. When you are satisfied, press the Navigation Wheel again.
The selected aperture setting is displayed on the LCD monitor and exits the setup screen.
A (Aperture) and M (Manual) modes allow the user to make aperture adjustments.
Maximum and minimum values of the aperture range depend on the lens itself.
The ossible setting range for the aperture varies with zooming.
