Getting started Buttons Button Function • Press and hold to turn the speaker bottle on or off. • Press to play or pause music. Power/Play button • If your speaker bottle is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold for approximately eight seconds to turn off the speaker bottle. • Press to increase the volume during music playback. Volume (+) button • Press and hold to skip to the next song during music playback. • Press to decrease the volume during music playback.

Charging the battery Battery charging tips and precautions • You can charge the speaker bottle using the charger (sold separately).
Getting started Wired charging Charge the speaker bottle before using it for the first time or when it has been unused for extended periods. Use only Samsung-approved chargers (more than 5V/1A for wired charging, more than 5V/2A for wireless charging). Unapproved chargers can cause the battery to explode or damage the speaker bottle. 1 Connect the speaker bottle to a charger. Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the speaker bottle.
Getting started 2 After fully charging, disconnect the speaker bottle from the charger. • To save energy, unplug the charger when not in use. The charger does not have a power switch, so you must unplug the charger from the electric socket when not in use to avoid wasting power. The charger should remain close to the electric socket and be easily accessible while charging. • The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Getting started 2 After fully charging, disconnect the speaker bottle from the wireless charger. • When there are foreign materials between the speaker bottle and the wireless charger, the speaker bottle may not charge properly. • Use Samsung-approved wireless chargers. If you use other wireless chargers, the battery may not charge properly.
Using the speaker bottle Turning the speaker bottle on or off Press and hold the Power/Play button to turn the speaker bottle on or off. When you turn on the speaker bottle for the first time, the lamp turns on and it enters Bluetooth pairing mode. • If your speaker bottle is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power/Play button for approximately eight seconds.
Using the speaker bottle 2 3 Mobile device Activate the Bluetooth feature and search for Bluetooth devices. For more information, refer to the other device’s user manual. Mobile device Tap [Speaker] Samsung Bottle Design (0000) from the list of available devices. • The PIN for the speaker bottle is the four-digit number in parenthesis displayed on the other device’s Bluetooth settings screen. The number differs depending on the speaker bottle.
Using the speaker bottle Connecting to other devices After ending the connection between the speaker bottle and the mobile device, you can connect the speaker bottle to other devices. 1 2 Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button for approximately three seconds to end the current connection and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Connect the speaker bottle to another device. Connecting via an audio cable Connect the speaker bottle to a device via an audio cable.
Using the speaker bottle • Ensure that there are no obstacles between the speaker bottle and a connected device, including human bodies, walls, corners, or fences. • Do not touch the Bluetooth antenna of a connected device. • Bluetooth uses the same frequency as some industrial, scientific, medical, and low power products and interference may occur when making connections near these types of products.
Using the speaker bottle Using the lamp Lux manager app introduction To configure the lamp or use the additional lamp features, download and install the Lux manager app on your mobile device connected via Bluetooth. You can download the Lux manager app from Galaxy Apps or Play Store. On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Lux manager. Access the Lux manager menu screen. Adjust the lamp brightness. Adjust the lamp brightness. Colour screen icon Turn the lamp on or off.
Using the speaker bottle Adjusting the lamp brightness with the speaker bottle To adjust the lamp brightness using the speaker bottle, press the Lamp brightness adjustment button. Or, you can use the speaker bottle’s motion recognition feature. Tilt the speaker bottle by more than 100°. The brightness will gradually change. When the brightness changes to the desired level, turn it upright again. Changing the lamp colour 1 2 3 On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Lux manager.
Using the speaker bottle Changing the lamp mode You can change the lamp mode to produce various moods. On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Lux manager. Tap and select one of the following. Light wave When you set the lamp mode to Light wave, the lamp brightness will change periodically so the lamp light will slowly pulse. The icon will appear in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Using the speaker bottle Using the sleep timer You can set the lamp to turn off automatically at a preset time. 1 2 3 On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Lux manager. Tap → Sleep timer. Set the timer and tap START. At the preset time, the lamp and music will turn off. Configuring additional options You can customise the settings for the speaker bottle and the Lux manager app. 1 2 On the Apps screen of the mobile device, tap Lux manager. Tap → Settings.
Appendix Troubleshooting Before contacting a Samsung Service Centre, please attempt the following solutions. Your speaker bottle does not turn on When the battery is completely discharged, your speaker bottle will not turn on. Charge the battery completely before turning on the speaker bottle. Your speaker bottle freezes If the speaker bottle freezes or hangs, try to resolve it by turning off the speaker bottle and then turning it on again.
Appendix Another Bluetooth device cannot locate your speaker bottle • Ensure that your speaker bottle is in Bluetooth pairing mode. • Restart your speaker bottle and search for the speaker bottle again. • Ensure that your speaker bottle and the other Bluetooth device are within the Bluetooth connection range (10 m). If the tips above do not solve the problem, contact a Samsung Service Centre.
Appendix The speaker bottle gets dirty Gently wipe the speaker bottle with a soft cloth. Do not use chemicals or strong detergents. Doing so may discolour or corrode the outside the device. Removing the battery • To remove the battery, you must visit an authorised service centre with the provided instructions. • For your safety, you must not attempt to remove the battery.
Appendix 10 Remove the circuit board by lifting it out of the speaker bottle. 11 Remove the four screws on the board connecting the main circuit board and the battery box. 12 Unfasten the hook of the battery box to open the lower part of the box and remove the batteries.
