6.7.2.1.Setthestandpose
Makesurethathipangleisasclosetoneutralaspossiblewiththepatient standing naturally.Ifthepatientis
walkingwiththeirbackbent,theirneutralposturewillalsobestandingwithbackbent.
Incorrectsettingofthestandposemaycauseuncomfortableassistanceordegradeclinicaleffectiveness.
Makesurethatboththeleftandrightjointangleoptionsareselectedwithinthemonitoringoptiondialog.
① Resetthehipanglesensorwhilethepatientisstandinginaneutralposturewithhipsstraightifpossible,orwith
comfortablepostureotherwise.Thiswillbeusedasthereferencepositionforcalculatingflexionandextension.
② Pressthe“SetStandPose”buttontoresetthehipangletozeroandtocalibratethereferenceposture.
③ Ifthestandposeisnotset,the“START”buttonwillnotbeactivated.
④ Makesurethatbothlefttherightjointanglesareselectedinthemonitoringoptiondialogtoseebothjoint
anglesinthegraph.
