equipmentcouldresultinincreasedelectromagneticemissionsordecreasedelectromagneticimmunityofthis

PortableRFcommunicationsequipment(includingperipheralssuchasantennacablesandexternalantennas)
shouldbeusednocloserthan30cm(12inches)toanypartoftheGEMS‐H,includingcablesspecifiedbythe
manufacturer.Otherwise,degradationoftheperformanceofthisequipmentcouldresult.

IfyouaregoingtohaveanX‐ray,CTscan,MRI,orbeexposedtoothertypesofradiation,removetheGEMS‐H,
andleavethemoutsidetheradiationarea.TheGEMS‐Hisdesigned and tested to tolerate common
electromagneticinterference.
TheEMISSIONScharacteristicsofthisequipmentmakeitsuitableforuseinindustrialareasandhospitals(CISPR
11classA).Ifitisusedinaresidentialenvironment(forwhich CISPR 11 class B is normally required) this
equipment might not offer adequate protection to radio‐frequency communication services. The user might
needtotakemitigationmeasures,suchasrelocatingorre‐orientingtheequipment.
