Some Bluetooth devices are secured and require a PIN number to
confirm and pair with them.

USB Settings
1. From the Home screen, tap

2. Select one of the following USB settings:
Kies (Firmware update)
: a software suite that allows you to search
and download applications directly from a PC. The applications are
then installed onto a mobile device when synced with a PC,
providing instant back up and peace of mind for application
downloads. For more information, refer to
“Connecting with
Kies”
on page 103.
•Media player
: connects your device to a PC in order to synchronize
files with Windows Media Player. For more information, refer to
“Synchronizing with Windows Media Player”
on
page 136.
Mass storage
: allows you to use the onboard storage capacity of
the phone to store and upload files. This option allows your
computer to detect the phone as a removable storage drive. For
more information, refer to
“Connecting as a Mass Storage
Device”
on page 136.
Ask on connection
: allows you to make a USB setting selection as
soon as the USB cable from your phone is connected with a PC.
Note:
To use any downloaded market application that requires a USB
connection between your tablet and your PC, you should first set the
USB setting to
Mass storage
.
Sound Settings
From this menu you can control the sounds on the phone as well
as configure the display settings.
From the Home screen, tap

The following options display:
Silent mode
Silent mode is convenient when you wish to stop the tablet from
making noise, in a theater for example. In Silent Mode the
speaker is muted and the tablet only vibrates to notify you of
incoming calls, or other functions that normally have a defined
tone or sound as an alert.
