Select an appropriate virtual key
until the character you want appears
on the display.
T9
Select the appropriate virtual keys 1.
to enter an entire word.
When the word displays correctly, 2.

to insert a space. If the
correct word does not display,
select an alternative word from
the list that appears or select .
Adding words to the T9 dictionary
If you cannot nd a word in the
alternative word list, you can add
the word to the T9 dictionary. Select
Add word at the bottom of the
alternative word list.
When entering text with the keypad, you can use
the following modes:

Pinyin
Select the appropriate virtual keys 1.
to enter pinyins.
Select a pinyin.2.
Select 3. 0. A number appears by
each character.
Select 4. ◄ or ► to scroll to a
character.
Select the character you want.5.
S Stroke
Select 1. 1 through 5 to enter
strokes.
Select 6 if you are unsure which
stroke to enter. This will insert a
placeholder.
