Understanding the status LED a. Estimated cartridge life means the expected or estimated toner cartridge life, which indicates the average capacity of print-outs and is designed pursuant to ISO/IEC 19752. The number of pages may be affected by operating environment, printing interval, media type, and media size. Some amount of toner may remain in the cartridge even when red LED is on and the printer stops printing. The color of the LEDs indicates the machine's current status.
Function Description Power On/Off Press this button to turn the power on or off. Cancel print job During printing, press this button once. The print job is cleared from both the machine and the computer and then the machine returns to the ready mode. This may take some time depending on the size of the print job. If you press this button for more than 2 seconds, the power goes off. Turning on the machine 1. Plug in the power cord. 2. Press on the control panel.
