Control panel overview

Display
Shows the current status and
prompts during an operation.

(Menu)
Enters menu mode and scrolls
through the available menus.

OK
Confirms the selection on the
display.

Sends you back to the upper menu
level.

Numeric keypad
Use the keypad to enter numbers
and characters. It is useful for
entering IP addresses. (see "Entering
characters using the number
keypad" on page 24).

(Cancel)
Stops an operation at any time.

(Power)
You can turn the power on and off
with this button.

(Status
LED)
Shows the status of your machine
(see "Status LED" on page 70).

Eco
Enters eco mode to reduce toner
consumption and paper usage (see
"Eco options" on page 43).

Arrows
Navigates available values by
moving to the next or previous
options.
