To add a contact to the buddy list:
1. On the Messenger screen, select and
press the
Select soft key.
2. Press the
Add soft key.
3. When a confirmation message appears, press
the Yes or No soft key.
4. If you press the
Yes soft key, scroll to the entry
you want using the Up or Down key and press
the Select soft key.
If you press the
No soft key, skip this step.
5. To enter a new name and number, press the
Edit soft key.
If you have retrieved an entry from Phonebook
and want to use the current name and number,
skip to step 8.
6. Enter a new name, and press the
Ok soft key.
7. Enter a number.
8. Press the
Save soft key.
To add a group to the buddy list:
1. On the Messenger screen, press the
Add soft
key.
2. Enter a group name and press the
Ok soft key.
For further details about how to enter
characters, see page 40.
3. When the created group highlights, press the
Select soft key.
4. To add entries to the group you want, follow
from steps 2 on page 145.
