Configuring TCP/IP
Your machine can be set up on a variety of TCP/IP networks.
There are several ways in which your machine can be assigned
a TCP/IP address, depending on your network.
• Static Addressing: TCP/IP address is assigned manually by
the system administrator.
• Dynamic Addressing BOOTP/DHCP (default): TCP/IP address
is assigned automatically by the server.
Static Addressing
To enter the TCP/IP address from your machine’s control panel,
take the following steps:

Press
Menu
until you see “Network Setup” on the top line
of the display.

Press the scroll button ( or ) until “Config Network”
displays on the bottom line.

Enter
to access the menu.
The first available menu item, “TCP/IP,” appears on the
bottom line.

The first available menu item, “Manual,” appears on the
bottom line.

.
The first available menu item, “IP Address,” displays on the
bottom line.

to access the IP Address menu.
An IP address consists of 4 bytes.
Enter a number between 0
and 255 for each byte.
