Set NAM MENU 0-5
NAM stands for numerical assignment module,
essentially your phone number. Your phone can have
two NAM s. This means that you can have two phone
numbers for using your phone and can quickly and
easily switch your service back and forth between the
two numbers.
If you change the NAM , the phone w ill turn off by
itself and back on, or reboot, and acquire service
using the new NAM setting.
Set System MENU 0-6
The system selection feature of your phone enables
you to choose how your phone w ill roam. Roaming is a
feature w hich is only relevant in areas where there are
usually at least tw o cellular service providers w hich
are referred to as “ A” and “ B” and have valid roaming
agreements. Your service provider w ill provide you
information about this service or the best roaming
method for you.
The following methods are available:
Pref A Only : In a wireless service area, there are
usually tw o service providers which are referred to as
A and B. Your service provider w ill provide you
information about this w hen you setup service. With
this setting, you will only be able to roam in the “ A”
netw ork or system.
Auto Retry MENU 0-3
When this menu option is activated, your phone w ill
automatically retry the call up to 10 times w hen a
connection fails.
To activate this feature, select how often the phone
will automatically retry the call; 60 Second, 30
Second and 10 Second are available.
Select Off deactivates this feature.
Language MENU 0-4
This menu option allows you to change the language
of voice prompts, menus and key input.
Choose the desired language from English, Spanish
and Portuguese.
Note: This setting does not affect the web browser.
