To turn TTY Mode on or off:
1. Press .
2. Press again to continue.
3. Press the navigation key up or down to select Enable TTY or
Disable TTY and press .
Note: In TTY Mode, your phone will display .
Note: If TTY Mode is enabled, the audio quality of non-TTY devices
connected to the headset jack may be impaired.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: 911 Emergency Calling
Sprint recommends that TTY users make emergency calls by other means
including Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS), analog cellular, and
landline communications. Wireless TTY calls to 911 may be corrupted
when received by public safety answering points (PSAPs) rendering some
communications unintelligible. The problem encountered appears related
to TTY equipment or software used by PSAPs. This matter has been
brought to the attention of the FCC, and the wireless industry and PSAP
community are currently working to resolve this.
Phone Setup Options
Display Language
To assign a language for the phone’s display:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Others.
4. Press for Language.
5. Press the navigation key up or down to select English or Español.
6. Press to save.

Shortcut
Your phone offers you the option of assigning a shortcut key to a favorite
or often-used function. Pressing the navigation key left in Standby mode
will launch your user-defined shortcut.
To assign your shortcut key:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Launch Pad.
4. Press for Up Key, for Down Key, for Left Key, or
for Right Key.
5. Press the navigation key up or down to select one of the following
functions:
•Phone Book
•Voice Memo
•Scheduler
•Messaging
•Voice Dial
•Ringer Type
•Downloads
•Display
•Alarms
•Calculator
•Web
6. Press to save.
Call Answer Mode
To set the actions required to answer an incoming call:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Others.
4. Press for Call Answer and select one of the following:
•Any Key
•Talk Key
•Flip Open
5. Press to save.
