Call Guard
Reminds you when you are making or receiving a
roaming call and requires you to take additional steps
before placing or answering it. These additional steps are
not required when you make or receive calls while on the
Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.
To turn Call Guard on:
1. Press the Menu soft key to access the main menu.
2. Press for Settings .
3. Press for Others .
4. Press for Roaming .
5. Press for Call Guard .
6. Select On or Off and press .
To place roaming calls with Call Guard on:
1. From standby mode, dial 1+area code+seven digit
number and press . (A prompt will display.)
2. Press to accept the roaming rates and place the
call.
To answer incoming calls with Call Guard on:
 Press to accept the roaming rates and answer the
call.
Feature Availability
 You can make and receive calls while roaming.
 You will have access to voicemail while roaming.
 Some features which are standard on the Sprint
Nationwide PCS Network, such as Call Waiting, PCS
Voice Command, and PCS Vision are unavailable
while roaming.
