Internet Explorer Settings
From this menu you can configure your internet settings to allow
cookies on the device, allow Bing to suggest web addresses, and
set whether you want the browser to display as a mobile device
or as a desktop. You can also delete all browsing history.
Cookies are typically placed on your device when you browse
and contain both site information as well as personal information
(such as a username and password), which can pose a security
risk if not properly managed.
If activated, the Bing search engine automatically suggests web
addresses when you perform an internet search.
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔
Settings .
Under
applications
settings, touch
Internet Explorer

field and choose either
Mobile version

Desktop version

Use address bar button for

Get suggestions from Bing as I type
to turn this
option On.
5. Touch Reduce data use by sending URLs to the Data
Sense service to turn this option On.
6. Touch
Send browsing history to Microsoft to help improve
Bing services
to turn this option On.
7. Touch
Use SmartScreen Filter to help product against unsafe
websites
to turn this feature On.
8. Touch Send a Do Not Track request to websites you
visit to turn this option On.
9. Touch the Cookies from websites and apps field and
select accept all, block some, or block all.
