Adding a Document or Note
To add a note or an office document:
1. Touch new .
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to add an office
document. Templates are also available for Word and Excel
documents.
OneNote
You can stay organized using text, pictures, or audio notes.
Create new notebooks, or review and edit shared OneNote
notebooks using SkyDrive.
To access OneNote, follow these steps:
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ OneNote .
2. Touch new to create a new note.
3. Touch search to search for notes.
4. Touch options to sync notes, view sync status, or
select pages of notes.
People
You can manage your daily contacts by storing their name,
number, email, and other information in your phone using the
People feature.

Phone
The Phone application allows you to make or answer a call. It
also includes the features and functionality associated with
making or answering a call. For more information, refer to “Call
Functions” on page 36.
Photo Editor
Photo Editor is the ultimate photo editor for Windows Phone,
combining an easy interface and professional grade tools and
effects. For more information, refer to “Photo Editor” on
page 65.
Photos
The Photos application is where you view photos and play back
videos. For photos, you can also set photos as wallpaper and
share as a picture message. For more information, refer to
“Photos” on page 56.
