Getting started

When XT9 is ON, entry options appear. Tap an option to enter the
characters. Tap an option to enter text.
• Tap to zoom in predictive conversion options/usual options display. Tap "Add
word" to save words, etc. to XT9 my words. Tap
to return to the previous
display.

Zoom out the keypad.
• Tap to return the original size.

Delete characters or symbols to the left of the cursor.

Enter characters or symbols.
• Touch and hold to display a list of characters and symbols assigned to the key.

Insert line feeds.
• When "Next" appears, move the cursor to the next entry eld.
• When "Done" appears, entry ends.
• When "Go" appears, go to webpage you entered in URL eld.

When it is tapped, the arrow turns to and only the first character is
entered in uppercase.
• When symbol key is tapped, a symbol depicted on the key can be entered.
• When it is tapped twice, the key turns in and uppercase character input
mode is xed. Tap three times to return to lowercase character input mode.

Switch to one-byte numeric/symbol input mode.
h
Enter Emoticons.
• Touch and hold to display emoticon list.
