REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION WARNING CAUTION Excessive Weight Hazard Use two or more people to move and install the refrigerator. Failure to do so can result in back or other injury. Avoid placing the refrigerator near a heat source, direct sunlight, or moisture. REQUIRED TOOLS The following tools are needed to install and adjust the refrigerator. UNPACKING YOUR REFRIGERATOR Remove tape and any temporary labels from the refrigerator before using.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION WARNING 4. With the 13/32-in. (10-mm) wrench, remove the three bolts that hold the hinge on the top of the refrigerator. (Left and Right) Be careful not to drop the refrigerator door during removal. Scratches or door damage could occur. REFRIGERATOR DOOR REMOVAL Socket wrench If the refrigerator is too large to pass through your doorway easily, you can remove the refrigerator doors. 1. REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION WARNING Be careful not to drop the freezer door during removal. Scratches or door damage could occur. FREEZER DOOR REMOVAL 1. Separate the cap on the middle hinge. 3b. Remove the freezer door by lifting it upward. Be careful not to drop or scratch the freezer door. 2. After removing one screw and two bolts, remove the middle hinge. (Unscrew the screws with the screwdriver (+) and hex bolts with the 3/16-in. [4.75-mm] hex wrench.) 4. Remove the cap on the bottom hinge.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION REVERSING THE DOORS 7. Turn the right bracket over and reinstall the hinge shaft in the bracket. Tighten the hinge shaft with the 5/32-in. (4mm) hex wrench. Thread the leg back into the opposite side of the hinge bracket. 1. Remove the refrigerator and freezer doors as described on pages 11 and 12. 2. After removing one screw and two bolts, remove the left middle hinge. (Unscrew the screws with the screwdriver(+) and hex holt with the 3/16-in(4.75-mm) hex wrench.) 8.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION REVERSING THE DOORS (cont.) 15. Replace the middle hinge cap on top of the left middle hinge. 11. Replace the bottom hinge cap on the left bottom hinge. 16. Position the refrigerator doors on the middle hinges and hinge caps. 12. Change the middle hinges assembled at refrigerator to the middle hinges in the fridge with handles. Use the black middle hinge assembled at refrigerator. Then place it at the bottom of the left middle hinge supplied separately.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION 17. Pull the loose end of the wire harness from opening in the refrigerator top. Pull the loose end of the wire harness and the ground wire from the opening in the top of the refrigerator door. Being careful not to pinch the wires, install the left-upper hinge and secure it with the three bolts. WARNING Do not damage the wires or connectors. Pinched or cut wires or damaged connectors can result in electric shock, fire, personal injury, and/or product failure. 19.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION HANDLE INSTALLATION 4. Check the installation of the handles by pulling on them. If the handles have been inserted correctly, they should not move. Ensure the two handles are horizontally aligned. 1. Make sure the word “UP” on the rear of the hanle is facing right side up. 2. Match the upper and lower handle Locking Tabs on the doors to the handles. NOTE : If the REF handles are not aligned, repeat number 2. To align the doors, refer to the next page. 3.
REFRIGERATOR INSTALLATION POSITIONING AND LEVELING THE REFRIGERATOR 3. If it is not level, adjust the front leveling legs until the refrigerator is level. Using a screwdriver, turn the leg counterclockwise to extend the leg and raise the refrigerator at that point. Turn the leg clockwise to retract the leg and lower the refrigerator at that point. It may take several turns of the leveling leg to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator.

Tilt up the front of the drawer and pull straight out. Pull out the glass shelf and frame rail assembly. (Refer to illustrations 1–3.) Injury may occur if the door bins are not firmly inserted. INSTALLATION DU RÉFRIGÉRATEUR AVERTISSEMENT Veillez à ne pas faire tomber la porte du congélateur pendant son retrait. La porte pourrait être endommagée ou rayée. DÉMONTAGE DE LA PORTE DE CONGÉLATEUR 3b. Démonter la porte du congélateur en la soulevant vers le haut. Faites attention à ne pas laisser tomber ou ne pas rayer la porte de congélateur. 1. Séparer le cache sur la charnière intermédiaire. 2. Après le démontage d’une vis et de deux boulons, démonter la charnière intermédiaire.
INSTALLATION DU RÉFRIGÉRATEUR INVERSION DU SENS D’OUVERTURE DES PORTES 7. Retournez le support droit et réinstallez l’axe de charnière dans le support. Resserrez l’axe de charnière avec la clé hexagonale de 4 mm (5/32 po). Faites passer le pied dans le côté opposé du support de charnière. 1. Retirez les portes du réfrigérateur et du congélateur comme indiqué en pages 37 et 38. 2. Après avoir retiré la vis et les deux boulons, retirez la charnière centrale gauche.
INSTALLATION DU RÉFRIGÉRATEUR INVERSION DU SENS D’OUVERTURE DES PORTES (suite) 15. Replacez le cache de la charnière centrale sur le dessus de la charnière centrale gauche. 11. Replacez le cache de la charnière inférieure sur la charnière inférieure droite. 16. Positionnez les portes du réfrigérateur sur les charnières centrales et les protections de charnières. 12. Remplacez les charnières centrales fixées à la partie intérieure du réfrigérateur par des poignées.
INSTALLATION DU RÉFRIGÉRATEUR 17. Tirez l’extrémité libre du faisceau électrique par l’ouverture dans le cache supérieur du réfrigérateur. Tirez l’extrémité libre du faisceau électrique et du câble de terre par l’ouverture dans le cache supérieur dans la porte du réfrigérateur. En veillant à ne pas pincer les fils, installez la charnière supérieure gauche et fixez-la avec les trois boulons. AVERTISSEMENT N’endommagez pas les fils ou les connecteurs.

Veillez à ce que les deux poignées soient bien parallèles. 1. Veillez à ce que l’indication « UP » à l’arrière de la poignée soit positionnée en haut. 2. Faites correspondre les encoches de fixation supérieures et inférieures des portes avec celles des poignées.

Tourner le pied dans le sens horaire pour escamoter le pied et abaisser le réfrigérateur. Plusieurs tours du pied de nivellement peuvent être nécessaire pour régler l’inclinaison du réfrigérateur.
