Connections Connecting a Computer There are several ways to connect the computer to the monitor. Choose one from the following options. Using the D-sub (Analog) connector on the video card. • Connect the D-sub to the 15-pin, RGB/COMPONENT IN port on the back of your LCD Display and the 15 pin D-sub Port on the computer. Using the DVI (Digital) connector on the video card. • Connect the DVI Cable to the DVI IN port on the back of your LCD Display and the DVI port on the computer.
Connections Using the HDMI (digital) output on the graphics card. • Connect the HDMI IN port on the monitor to the HDMI port on the PC using the HDMI cable. Note When the HDMI cable to the PC, ensure that you select HDMI from both the Source List and Edit Name before selecting PC or DVI device so that normal PC screen and sound can be outputted. Note that sound is only available when connected according to the option that follows.
Connections • The LCD Display 's configuration at the back may vary slightly depending on the LCD Display model. Connecting AV Devices 1. Connect the Video and [R-AUDIO-L] port of the DVD, VCR or DTV Set-Top Box to the Video and [R-AUDIO-L] LCD Display. 2. Play the DVD, VCR or Camcorder with a DVD disc or tape inserted. 3. Select AV using the SOURCE . Connecting to a Camcorder 1. Locate the AV output jacks on the camcorder. They are usually found on the side or back of the camcorder.

Using the Software is the case, then click the center of the button mark to acknowledge the mounted touchscreen. If there is no information about the touchscreen displayed on the monitor, press "ESC" on the keyboard or wait for 15 seconds. The program will pass the current monitor and automatically select the next one. Double clicking one of the touchscreens in the list, you can select the monitor related to the selected IR touch screen in the popup select-dialog box. Click the "OK" button to save and exit.
Using the Software The method of calibration comprises the following steps: Select a touchscreen in the information list, and then click the “Calibrate” button when the calibration window shows up. At this time, four bull’s-eyes will appear on the screen, each of which having a cross in the center. The calibration will be completed by clicking in sequence the crosses with a pointer or a finger in a clockwise direction.
Using the Software Mode Settings 1. Click on touch When the finger contacts a touch screen the mouse's single click will happen automatically. The mode only applies to touch, not to drag. In this mode the touchscreen responds the fastest. This mode is usually used for clicking a large object (e.g. OK button in the pop-up window) in applications. 2.
Using the Software available in the Mouse Emulation mode. You can adjust the value of “Delay” in “Right Click Settings”. Note: The higher the “Delay” value, the longer the right-click menu popup time. "Delay" is displayed in "milliseconds." “Area” is used for adjusting the jitter range of the touch surface within a limit of error (unit: pixel). The higher the "Area" value, the wider the range of jitter.

If you select the "Enable Delay Touch" option, touch sensibility will slow down and dragging after a quick click will be treated as disabled operations. Dragging and fast clicking will be considered disabled operations.

The right-click menu will pop up. Right-click is only available in Mouse Emulation mode. In general, the “Delay” value is set to 1000 (1 second) and the “Area” value is set to 32px, to obtain the best performance regarding the right-click function. 2. Introduction A Multiple Display Control (MDC) is an application allowing various displays to be easily and simultaneously operated on a PC. RS-232C, a standard of serial communication, is used for the communication between a PC and a display. Therefore, a serial cable should be connected between the serial port on a PC and the serial port on a display. Main Screen Click Start > Program > Samsung > MDC System to start the program. Select a set to see the volume of the selected set within the slider.

It receives the volume value of the selected display from the sets and displays it in the slider. Info Grid shows some basic information necessary to Time Control. 1) Current Time - Set the current time for the selected display (PC Time). - To change the current time, first change the PC Time. 2) On Time Setup - Set the Hour, Minute, AM/PM of On Time Setup, Status, Source, Volume of the selected display. 3) Off Time Setup - Set the Hour, Minute, and AM/PM, Status for Off Time Setup of the selected display. 4) Shows the On Time settings. 5) Shows the Off Time settings.
