Displaying Your Phone Number
Press Start > Settings > More... > More...> Phone
Information. (Your phone number and other
information about your device will be displayed.)
Making and Answering Calls
Making Calls
Placing a call from your device is as easy as making a
call from any landline device. Enter the number, press
, and you’re on your way to clear calls.
1. Make sure your device is on.
2. Enter a phone number from standby mode. (If you
make a mistake while dialing, press
to erase
the numbers.)
3. Press . (To make a call when you are roaming
and Call Guard is enabled, select
Roam Call and
press . See “Setting Your Device’s Roam
Mode” on page 68.)
4. Press when you are finished.
You can also place calls from your device by using
Sprint Voice Command (page 161), speed dialing
numbers from your Contacts (page 34), and using your
Call History listings (page 73).
Dialing Options
When you enter numbers in standby mode, you will
see a variety of dialing options displayed as softkeys on
the device’s display screen.
To initiate an option, press the corresponding softkey.
Save: Enter a seven-digit or ten-digit number (phone
number and area code) and press
Save () to
save the phone number in your Contacts. (See
“Saving a Phone Number” on page 33.)
Tip
To redial your last outgoing call, press TAL K () twice.
When making calls off the Sprint National Network,
always dial using 11 digits (1 + area code + phone
number).
